Appointments, Scheduling & Payment

SCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS: To schedule an appointment for your child, please call during our regular office hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30 am-3:30 pm. We make every effort to confirm all appointments a day in advance and will require 24-hours notice to reschedule an appointment.In consideration of our other patients, please make every effort to be on time, as arriving late may require us to reschedule your child's appointment.

SEDATION APPOINTMENTS: If you are making a sedation appointment you may be asked to bring your child at a particular time. We have learned through experience that this procedure is best accepted during the earlier parts of the day.

OUR PAYMENT POLICY: You will need to be prepared to pay any amount that is determined not payable by your insurance plan, such as deductibles and percentages—as payment is due at the time service is rendered. INSURANCE INFORMATION: We accept most dental insurance plans and we are always happy to help you file your insurance claims, but our speed and efficiency is only as good as the information you give us. Please notify our office of any changes to your policy as soon as possible. You may submit your changes by printing and filling out the appropriate information on our Patient Information Form and bringing it with you when you come in for your child's appointment.

EMERGENCY CARE: We do not set aside "emergency time" on a daily basis. If your child has a dental emergency, please immediately call us at (435) 752-4330 and we will see your child as soon as possible. When our office is not open, Dr. Gehring carries an emergency cell phone (435) 764-5437 for prompt and direct attention. Occasionally treating an emergency will cause us to run slightly late with our regularly scheduled patients. When this occurs, we apologize, request your understanding, and will do our best to keep you informed.
