At Cache Valley Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Daren Gehring combines advanced pediatric dental training, years of experience, and a genuine love for working with children to provide exceptional care for growing smiles.
DR. DAREN GEHRING, DDS

Dr. Daren Gehring is dedicated to providing exceptional pediatric dental care for infants, children, and teenagers throughout Cache Valley. Originally from Bountiful, Dr. Gehring now lives in North Logan with his wife and five children.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Utah State University and graduated Cum Laude from Virginia Commonwealth University with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2000. He completed his pediatric specialty training at the University of Florida in Gainesville in 2002, receiving advanced education focused specifically on the dental needs of children.
Throughout his career, Dr. Gehring has been recognized for his clinical and academic excellence. He continues to pursue advanced education and stay current with the latest materials, technology, and treatment approaches so he can provide children with comprehensive, modern dental care.
Dr. Gehring believes every child deserves a positive experience at the dentist and strives to create an environment where families feel informed, comfortable, and cared for — helping children “Keep Kids Smiling.”
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Gehring enjoys spending time with his family, camping, fishing, hunting, biking, and training as an aspiring triathlete. He is also involved in the local community and participates in humanitarian efforts through Smiles for Central America.

He also stays current with advancements in airway-focused pediatric dentistry, evaluating how oral development, breathing patterns, and airway health may relate to a child’s overall dental development.

Dr. Gehring utilizes advanced dental technology, including Biolase Waterlase laser dentistry, to provide precise and comfortable treatment options for children when appropriate. Laser technology can help improve certain procedures by allowing for minimally invasive treatment and enhanced patient comfort.
